I had some leftover rice in the fridge and I was craving some Japanese food, so I thought I would make some fried rice. It has all the flavor of that hibachi style fried rice that we all love, without the bad oils they use, and sadly, without the fancy tricks. Unless you know how to do that stuff, then you wanna teach me?? This is a super easy dinner when you are tired and don't want to go crazy with cooking. You can do this with white or brown rice, I used white because that's what I had in [Check it Out...]
This is an easy dish to make with a few elements but it's not challenging at all. The mock beef in this recipe is tempeh. I love using tempeh for mock ground meat, it just works out so well. The texture is spot on, and all you have to do is add flavor. I opt out of using taco kit packets for flavoring, even the "organic" ones. I mean why bother? They still have some kind of preservatives in it, and it's not going to have that fresh flavor. Just don't do it, promise? It's really easy to make [Check it Out...]
This chili is great for the winter months when it's cold AF outside. It's vegan and super filling. It's not that spicy, so if you want it spicier you can obviously add more jalapeño or red pepper flakes if you wish. I swap out tomatoes for tomatillos and it is magical. It is also a little involved, much more involved than I normally make recipes, but I was feeling ambitious on this particular day. So you can opt to do everything or you can leave some things out. Or instead of fire roasting the [Check it Out...]
No, this is not instant ramen, how dare you think that low of me. This ramen is really easy to make, its almost as fast as the instant kind, but way better for you. According to Dr. Mercola, Instant ramen contains harmful preservatives that you don't want to eat. The noodles take hours to actually break down in your body, much like when you eat fast food. This is no bueno. Not all ramen noodles are created equal, the organic versions will most likely not have these harmful effects on your [Check it Out...]
Here is a soup that you don't even need a pot to make. You just need an oven and a blender. After you roast everything in the oven you put it straight into the blender with the liquid stuff, and there's no need to heat it in a pot, just pour it right into your serving bowls and garnish it. I must admit, this soup was born out of laziness, which is honestly how I come up with most of my recipes. Don't judge me, monkey.
